2016 LEXUS RC-F
The refined Lexus RC-F will blow you away, Nebula grey pearl paint with carbon fiber inlays will catch your eye at a glimpse. Big performance Brembo brakes hiding behind 19" forged alloy wheels and a sporty speed activated carbon fiber spoiler warns you not to underestimate it's capabilities. The RC-F sits on a performance " F spec " multilink rear suspension and double wishbone front suspension. The RC-F also features a TORSEN limited slip rear differential, working with a system Lexus calls " TVD " or Torque Vectoring Differential. The system electronically controls the rear end to perfectly distribute power to the rear wheels, allowing the modest of drivers to comfortably drive hard with more control at the race track. Select between options like a timer to hold and record lap times along with performance gauges like live g-forces, and live display of the TVD system in action in the information center.
Under the hood
Here we have a 5.0L Direct and Port injected V8 making a phenomenal 467 hp and 389 ft lbs of torque. The transmission is a 8 speed automatic direct-shift transmission. When the car is in manual mode you can use the paddle shifters, making you in control of every gear change. Although supplying big power, the 5.0 engine gets fair gas mileage, 16 city and 25 highway, averaging 19 mpg.
Luxury we've come to expect from Lexus. Features like a premier 17 speaker sound system, dual climate control, and navigation controlled by the 7" multi media display make for a luxurious ride.
