A satisfying mix of power and luxury at a reasonable price.

2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4

Mitsubishi’s new eco-friendly sedan is one of the least expensive cars in the country. The Mirage G4 SE is a 4-door sedan with tons of space and great features. The exterior on our test model was a beautiful Wine Red, accented by dark chrome alloy wheels, making the Mirage look … quite stunning for the price. One of the highlights of the Mirage is the  10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty and 5-year, 60,000-mile new car warranty. At a price tag of only $17,830 and an average of 35 mpg, the Mirage is a solid choice for consumers looking for value.

Under the hood
The Mirage sports an eco-friendly 1.2L DOHC 3-cylinder engine and automatic transmission with a sport shifting mode. Being a front-engine, front-wheel drive car, the Mirage can see mileage as high 35 mpg city and 42 highway under normal driving conditions. With that fuel economy, there is usually a trade off … and the Mirage G4 takes nearly 13 seconds to accelerate from zero to 60.

What’s inside
A tastefully-designed black interior and semi high-contrast gauge cluster are some of many eye-catching accessories the Mirage has to offer. The 6.5-inch head unit displays controls for everything from climate control and navigation to Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Both driver and passenger seats are heated and have power controls. Mitsubishi is even keeping the passengers in the rear seats warm and relaxed, with floor-heater ducts and fold-down armrests.
